My namesake was a poetry, that was written at leisure and interpreted in haste. I was re-incarnated as the sea that inspired my namesake...

December 8, 2010 at 9:49 am

December 8, 2010 at 5:14 am
Wow.. took me a while to realise it was an onion 😀 I once saw two baby brinjals (or egg plants, whatever) joint together in the middle forming a perfect heart. I didn’t feel like using it at all..:D
December 8, 2010 at 9:51 am
Wow .. wish u had taken a snap 😦
Btw I was forced to eat this .. logic given that it better be eaten by someone who appreciates it than by ppl who wouldn’t notice it 😉 😉 .. smart ass eh? 😉
December 8, 2010 at 9:24 am
the little one
in the dream
of her eye,
in the midst
of whorls of excitement
and layers of warmth.
Months of learning
tears and all,
and one day
the little one emerges,
the brave new world,
stunned by the brilliance,
what it knows best;
some more tears,
and a lusty loud cry….
(Great photo. My first impression of the visual was immediately that of a curled up foetus in the womb….against an image of an eyeball….Change the crockery 🙂 )
December 8, 2010 at 9:54 am
Wow .. how did u visualise that??? Bow down to thee 🙂
I told my friend something too on seeing this .. that it seemed the perfect unsaid tale of nature that seems to say:
peel off the layers, but be careful I might make you cry and even leave a stench, the quest is never easy for your vision will be blurred and you shall be tempted to give up – but in the end when you reach the middle it’ll be the perfect find – a snug heart – and then when you look back the maze is already broken – freedom awaits you – layers are just conquered pieces ready to be swept up by the flames!
But yours is stupendoes 😛
December 8, 2010 at 10:03 am
the innermost figure is almost curled up foetus-like. And your description supports this idea that way inside the tears have built up, and then to sudddenly have the layers peeled off, and birth happen, when the lusty first cry happens …..
December 8, 2010 at 10:06 am
Yes somewhere that is when the shrill cry has a blessed feeling attached right?
A wonderful feeling that must be 🙂
December 8, 2010 at 11:01 am

First I thot it was a cake u designed…with a heart in the center – And very sweet, was my idea. 🙂
Then the “romantic onion” comment pulled me back to senses to reveal the reality in the picture…and then I sit stumped with wonder…WOW, who clicked this one ??? DQ, is it you ???? Good job, yaar. 🙂 🙂 😉
Peel the layers
To reveal the heart
Beware of my family
Which is sure to bring
Tears down the fort.
But isn’t it the reality
Of life ???
The Heart and Tears
Go hand in hand
All the time.
December 8, 2010 at 3:11 pm

N yup it represented the perfect irony as to how to reach the heart the tears r inevitable!
Thanks Uma! N well said 🙂
