A prayer for tomorrow….
My namesake was a poetry, that was written at leisure and interpreted in haste. I was re-incarnated as the sea that inspired my namesake...
All about me...

Beautiful Krishna…lovely prayer…you made me smile. 🙂
BTW, is it in a car or near some Music Player, right ???? The flowers that grace His Feet are bigger than this idol of Him !!! 🙂 🙂 But that’s what that makes this picture so wonderful. 🙂
September 29, 2010 at 10:01 am

September 29, 2010 at 10:07 am
Thank you Uma …. It’s my favorite piece 🙂
This is on the small pedestral on which my office computer monitor stands …. A prayer to him is mandatory for me before I begin to work.. 😀
And those flowers are the ones I put at his feet on janmastami .. his favorite color .. and a small bday gift from me 😀
September 29, 2010 at 10:48 am
Nu was busy in cooking that special lunch for the hubby you see girls !!! 😈
Oh Sags do you want to know what’s on menu today at my place and Uma’s ???
September 29, 2010 at 11:13 am
ya ya Nu .,… I know what all was cooking in that special lunch 😉 😉 …
And no Thank you I don’t want that Lunch menu 👿 .. but ya side dishes menu chalega 😉 😉
September 29, 2010 at 11:33 am
But I am telling my lunch menu :
Pudina Rice garnished with fried onions, cucumber raita, Rice, Jeera Rasam, am still thinking on the veggie…will tell u when its done.. 😉 😛 😛
Why Uma … Why? 😯 …am I not sweet to you? … Then why this torture 😥
Nu I understand is 👿 … But you 😯 😥 ?
A Sweet irony
as I stand
that shows you the world
with a touch
of a finger
on a screen……
Life is sometimes brighter,
the contrast in Life
as it was
and as it could be
is too much.
How much simpler to
enjoy my own
in a garden of roses;
and when my Ma,
wants to see the world,
I simply open my mouth……
September 29, 2010 at 10:10 am
true ma’am… wish the world knew the bliss of simplicity and innocence and retained it 😀
September 29, 2010 at 10:25 am
I often post these poems (with permission and attribution) on my poetry blog Strewn Ashes.., side by side with the visual that inspired it. I need your permission to do that. Do let me know if its OK with you (or even NOT OK)…. Thanks !
September 29, 2010 at 10:29 am
First you humble me and then you embarass me by asking my permission 🙂 .. I would love my Krishna to feature in your blog…. even he smailes and assents 🙂
Thank you so much ma’am 😀
September 29, 2010 at 10:44 am
Suranga, thats exactly what I thot, when I asked the question whether its near some Music player… 😉
Whether the play button is pressed or not, Krishna’s flute is sure to mesmerize us !!! 🙂 🙂
Lovely flow of words, again…probably out of Krishna’s flute, huh !!!! 🙂
September 29, 2010 at 10:57 am
Alas.. wish had a music palyer in office .. but then he does sooth me standing near my monitor button too.. each morning as I greet him he seems to tell me:
Place me near the place of work – for that is your Dharma
Let you not be tainted and forever remember my essence of Karma…
Wotk might be fun, hectic or you misght not enjoy
Let not that stop you from the path I have put you on O Sanjay…
IF the mind is confused and the blurred vision hazes even my face
Close your eyes, hear my tune and you shall be assured that everything shall fall in place…
September 29, 2010 at 11:19 am
